Experience the exclusive Windsurf Wave Camp in Peru, where endless Pacific waves await you. 

This camp is not just a learning opportunity – it is the ultimate chance to surpass yourself and ride the best waves of your life. Peru is home to some of the longest surfable left-hand waves on the planet. While Chicama is renowned in surfing, Pacasmayo holds this spot in the windsurfing world, as its wave is well-reached by the wind from the lighthouse to the pier in town. On the days when the wave is running well, make sure you’ve trained your legs before the trip ;) 

The wave in Pacasmayo runs over 2 km, is fairly gentle, and allows you to make significant progress. The wave is quite forgiving and easy to ride. Thanks to the reliable sideshore trade winds, you can almost daily get on the water with sail sizes around 5 sqm. The second spot during the camp is Punta Luna, located a few hours by car to the north in the middle of a nature reserve that is inaccessible to other surfers. The wave here has a bit more power and runs a bit faster but rarely exceeds 2 meters. The wind blows a bit stronger here, making it one of the best "windsurf" waves in the world.

Accommodation: El Faro Adventure Resort:

In Pacasmayo, we will stay at a hotel located directly in the bay. It is a great base as you can start your windsurfing sessions directly from the hotel without needing to go anywhere else. The sundowner drinks by the pool are another plus while watching the last waves of the day roll in. 

Ecolodge Punta Luna: The lodge has 4 spacious suites and two living rooms with an integrated kitchen, and satellite Wi-Fi. For the comfort and protection of the national park, the number of guests is strictly limited, and there will be no more than 10 people on the water at the same time. There is a complete cooking service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as snacks throughout the day. Due to the limited space, accommodation is only available on a shared room basis (2-3 people), with no option to upgrade to single occupancy in Punta Luna.

INCLUDED IN THE WAVE CLINIC PACKAGE: 

COACHING / GUIDING 

Nine days of intensive coaching with theory lessons in the morning and video coaching in the evening in the group,

so you can learn from each other. 

VIDEO / PHOTO 

You will be filmed for video coaching purposes, which will be viewed and analyzed each evening or the following morning. 

The fact that we have a professional filmmaker with us will also be used to provide you with his personal and professional photo and video package, which includes:

• All daily coaching files
• A personal video edit with your waves, mixed with impressions of the trip
• Some clips of your best action on the water for social media
• A selection of action and lifestyle photos. All this will be provided on a USB stick supplied by us. Footage and photos from both land and drone.

TRAVEL - PACASMAYO AND PUNTA LUNA 

Pickup from Chiclayo airport to Pacasmayo, transfer to Punta Luna, and return to Chiclayo (or Piura) airport. 

6 nights at El Faro Resort in Pacasmayo – breakfast included. 

4 nights at the Ecolodge in Punta Luna, in shared rooms with full board. 

You will be supervised on the water by Flo and his team. Jet ski support for emergency situations, and we have a pickup truck at the lodge for emergencies or excursions within the nature reserve.

REQUIRED SKILL LEVEL IN WINDSURFING: 

You should have experience in wave riding and be able to sail upwind confidently even in light winds. The camp clearly focuses on wave riding rather than jumping.
